At the moment, I am only offering Telehealth sessions.
You will be billed for each session and payment must received once service is completed. Payments can be made through Credit Card, Mobile Payment Appsand Ivy Pay. I do have a limited number of slots to offer sliding scale payments.
Sessions are typically 45—60 minutes in length and are scheduled weekly. More frequent sessions may be available depending on your needs and goals. As therapy progresses, it is common for frequency to change depending on how you are feeling. Sessions can always be adjusted based on your needs and goals.
The first session is very similar to the first time you are seeing a new provider. A lot of questions about you and your history. The first few sessions are focused on getting to know one another and building the therapeutic relationship. During the first session I will ask questions about why you are seeking therapy and what you want to work on during our time together. Since therapy is a collaborative relationship, you may also share your expectations for therapy and ask any questions you may have.
During our sessions, you will be expected to honestly examine, identify, and express your own vulnerabilities while learning how to cope with triggers related to physical and/or emotional symptoms you may be experiencing. In therapy, you will learn techniques to assist in decreasing negative thoughts, valuing self-worth, and improving interpersonal relationships. The outcome of therapy may increase your satisfaction and quality of life.
