My name is Ania and I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. I am based in Miami, where I was born and raised. I come from a Hispanic background, identifying as a Cuban-American. I am fluent in English and Spanish, with Spanish being my first language. I attended Nova Southeastern University to pursue a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in community mental health and private practice. I have experience with traditional talk therapy, family therapy, and virtual therapy. In my time in community mental health, I also had the privilege to facilitate groups. Since college, I knew I wanted to become a therapist. It wasn't until launching my practice and going through my own journey of self-discovery that I realized my “why.“ My calling is to help and serve others in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
The therapeutic relationship is very important in every healing journey. I look forward to creating a connection that will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to work on your authentic self.
My therapeutic approach is based on your needs and goals. I use an integrated approach of various systems along with numerous therapeutic techniques during our sessions.
